Warranty

Cooler Keg warrants the product against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date the Product is purchased directly through Cooler Keg or an authorized reseller (“Warranty Period”). If a defect arises and a valid claim is received by Cooler Keg within the Warranty Period, we will repair the product or exchange the product with a functionally equivalent new product at Cooler Keg’s discretion. Cooler Keg warrants repaired products and replacement products against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of the repair or replacement for ninety (90) days or, if longer, for the remainder of the warranty period. If the product is exchanged, the replacement product belongs to the customer, while the defective unit then belongs to Cooler Keg. When a refund is given, the product becomes Cooler Keg property and must be returned.

The limited warranty covers only those defects that arise as a result of normal use of the product and does not cover any other problems, including, but not limited to, those that arise as a result of:

  1. Improper maintenance or modification;

  2. Operation outside of the product's specifications;

  3. Carelessness or neglect to operate the product in accordance with instructions provided with the product;

  4. Damaging the tamper label on the product;

  5. Damage by over-tightening the fasteners;

  6. Failure to follow cleaning and / or maintenance procedures; 

  7. Exceeding published operational temperatures and pressures;

  8. Normal wear from regular use of the product;

  9. Putting non-liquid substances in the product;

  10. Any product with the serial number (or equivalent) removed;

  11. The use of parts and supplies not provided by Cooler Keg;

  12. Acts of God;

  13. Loss or damage in transit; or

  14. Modification or service by a party other than Cooler Keg.

Limitations of Warranty

  1. Any implied warranty that is found to arise by way of state or federal law, including any implied warranty of merchantability or any implied warranty of fitness, is limited in duration to the terms of this limited warranty and is limited in scope of coverage to this warranty. Cooler Keg disclaims any express or implied warranty, including any implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose or merchantability, on items excluded from coverage as set forth in this limited warranty

  2. Cooler Keg makes no warranty of any nature beyond that contained in this limited warranty. No one has authority to enlarge, amend, or modify this limited warranty, and Cooler Keg does not authorize anyone to create any other obligation for it regarding this product.

  3. Cooler Keg is not responsible for any representation, promise, or warranty made by any independent dealer or other person beyond what is expressly stated in this limited warranty. Any selling or servicing dealer is not Cooler Keg’s agent, but an independent entity.

  4. Cooler Keg does not extend this warranty to products made by third party manufacturers.

Limitations of Liability

  1. The remedies provided in this warranty are the customer's sole and exclusive remedies.

  2. Except for the obligations specifically set forth in this warranty, in no event shall Cooler Keg be liable for direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, whether based on contract, tort, or any other legal theory and whether or not advised of the possibility of such damages.

  3. This warranty does not cover, and in no event shall Cooler Keg be liable for, travel, lodging, or any other expense incurred due to manufacturing defects in material and workmanship, or any other reason.

  4. Any performance of repairs after the warranty coverage period has expired or performance of repairs regarding anything excluded from coverage after this limited warranty shall be considered good-will repairs and they will not alter the terms of this limited warranty or extend any warranty coverage period.

  5. The limited warranty is non-transferable. As a condition of warranty service, warranty service requests must be accompanied by valid proof of purchase, and a full written description of the problem.

  6. Cooler Keg will have no obligation to repair or replace any part or product until you return the allegedly defective item to the Company at the address listed on www.thecoolerkeg.com.

  7. SOME JURISDICTIONS MAY ALLOW A LIMITATION ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS OR ON THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE TO CONSUMER PRODUCTS, OR OF A CONSUMER'S STATUTORY RIGHTS. IN SUCH JURISDICTIONS, SOME EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS APPLICABLE IN ALL JURISDICTIONS AND MAY BE ENFORCED IN ANY JURISDICTION WHERE THE COMPANY OR ITS AUTHORIZED SERVICE PROVIDER OFFERS WARRANTY SERVICE. ALL DISPUTES ARISING UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL BE RESOLVED BEFORE A COURT OF COMPETENT JURISDICTION IN KENTON COUNTY, KENTUCKY.

  8. IN THE EVENT THAT THERE ARE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THIS WARRANTY AND THE PROVISIONS OF ANY ADVERTISEMENT, DOCUMENTATION, PRODUCT BROCHURE, OR PACKAGING CARTONS, THE TERMS OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY WILL PREVAIL.
