What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding helps entrepreneurs launch new products without the risk of large business loans or investments by venture capitalists. Everyday people are given the opportunity to back new businesses by becoming early adopters. By raising small amounts of money from a large number of people pre-ordering products, entrepreneurs are able to fund their start-up costs such as ordering parts in bulk to keep prices down.
How does it work?
Pre-campaign reservations
Anyone who reserves their Cooler Keg for $1 before the campaign launches on Indiegogo will lock in the lowest discount (33% off MSRP).
Post-campaign manufacturing
During the 30 day crowdfunding campaign, you can back us by pre-ordering a Cooler Keg on Indiegogo. The price will go up throughout the campaign, so the earlier you pre-order, the lower the price.
Crowdfunding campaign
Once the campaign ends and funds are transferred to Cooler Keg, we will immediately begin the manufacturing process. This includes sourcing the materials, making molds for the custom parts, and manufacturing the finished product. Timing for manufacturing is dependent on a lot of things, including global supply chain issues that most companies are facing at the moment.
Delivery
Timing for delivering the finished products is dependent on the manufacturing process, but we’ll keep all backers informed along the whole way. If all the stars align, we are hoping to fulfill orders before the end of the year. However, with many unknowns, we could be looking at delivery in early 2023. We will fulfill orders on a first come, first served basis, so the earlier you pre-order yours, the sooner you’ll get it!
