Sparkling Margarita
This Sparkling Margarita takes your classic marg and cranks the energy all the way up. Fresh lime, tequila, triple sec, and simple syrup get hit with max CO₂ for a crisp, fizzy finish that keeps the line at your tap moving. It’s bright, punchy, and basically a party that pours itself.
IMPORTANT: This drink must be made at least 3 days ahead of time to make it sparkling.

Ingredients
Makes
40, (5oz) drinks
- 3L Tequila
- 1L Simple Syrup
- 1L Fresh Lime Juice
- 1L Triple Sec (or Cointreau or Grand Marnier)
- Tajin, salt, or sugar to rim glasses (optional)
- Limes for garnish (optional)
Directions
- IMPORTANT: This drink must be made at least 3 days ahead of time to make it sparkling.
- Mix all ingredients in a keg, stir, close the lid. Be sure to strain the lime juice before putting in kegs.
- Attach CO2 regulator to the “in” post on the keg and max the pressure (~25psi). While the regulator is attached and at max pressure, pull the release valve on the keg a few times to remove all the room air. Disconnect the regulator and turn the regulator pressure to zero.
- Chill keg in refrigerator for 3-4 days. Every day, reattach the regulator and max the pressure to ~25psi; there is no need to pull the release valve on the keg these times. Disconnect the regulator and turn the regulator dial to zero.
- At least 1 day before the party, freeze the ice packs.
- 3 hours before the party starts, put the kegs and ice packs in the Cooler Keg. This lets the temperature equalize between the ice packs and the kegs.
- When ready to serve, use the release valve on keg to let out all the pressure. (If you try to serve the sparkling margs at full pressure, it will spray margarita everywhere. Trust us, you’ll only make that mistake once).
- Reattach the regulator and set pressure to 8psi for serving.
- Pour over ice in your favorite tajin, salt, or sugar-rimmed glass and garnish with lime slices.
