Ingredients
Makes
54, (4oz) drinks
- 50 oz Bourbon (we recommend New Riff)
- 150 oz Water
- 8 oz Honey
- 8 oz Lemon juice (strain to remove any pulp or seeds)
- 4 Cinnamon sticks
Directions
- Mix all ingredients, except the bourbon, into a large stock pot
- Bring to a boil, then lower the heat
- Simmer for 30 minutes
- Cool to 150 degrees, strain into the keg, add room temperature bourbon, and close the lid (bourbon will drop the temperature to 140)
- Place keg into cooler with non-frozen (room temperature) ice packs
- When it’s time to serve, set pressure to 5 psi and you’re ready to pour!
- Pro tip: make sure your Cooler Keg and ice packs are at room temperature before putting warm keg in so it doesn’t cool down the drink and make this drink as close to the party as possible for pipping hot sips!
